Nice ambience and quiet café. The iced coffee, however, did not match the quality that reflects the location and ambience.

Over the roofs of Passau, centrally located, with large panoramic windows, that is the Cafe Divan. It is one of the Greindl Cafés that are known in Passau for excellent cakes. A visit here is therefore not only an absolute must for Passau tourists. This is also where people from Passau go for coffee and cake. In addition to the excellent cakes, there is also an exquisite selection of coffee and teas. Sure, it's not cheap here, but it's definitely good value. The service is friendly, fast, reliable, professional. Overall one of the top locations in Passau.

This place is not for visitors who expect a simple menu with Wiener schnitzel and goulash soup. However, if you take the trouble to try the small but fine offer, you will certainly not be disappointed.

We visited this cafe for breakfast on recommendation and were not disappointed. The ambience is modern and a bit playful. The selection of breakfast variations leaves nothing to be desired and the cakes on offer also looked very tasty. We had the deluxe breakfast and loved it. In addition, the fantastic view and the great value for money with very attentive and friendly staff made my birthday breakfast an experience??

At 10 a.m. on Sunday, the restaurant opens the restaurant, which is known for the view of Passau. If you call in advance, we ask for a reservation so that we can sit in the front. It is an insider tip in Passau as a visitor with one of the best views of the city. The café is busy, a little cramped, but the view outstrips everything. The counterpart to the view from the castle! We were lucky to get a place without a reservation. You get snacks, coffee and fresh homemade, delicious cakes. The atmosphere is pleasant despite the volume! The service friendly and relaxed, despite the high volume! What more do you want!

Ambience was pleasant, tea was very good but the coffee disappointing. And no Ristretto....but that is not a must, although I would have expected it from a Cafe Lounge. Service was at the time I was there good. Totally, a place to visit. Oh, and they have nice looking cakes, but I haven't tried them

Cafe Lounge Diwan is top in many ways: (1) the great and best view of the whole city of Passau through the large all-round glass surfaces, (2) the cozy and modern atmosphere and decor and (3) the high-quality, tasty, eclectic and high-quality delicious selection of food, pastries and drinks. The service is extremely friendly, competent and fast. No long waits and always friendly service, even with many guests. Thanks for the great time with you! :) Highly recommended!

The view from the cafe is amazing. Its on the top of one of the highest buildings, so all Passau is like on your palm. They make delicious breakfasts of different types of different price categories. The coffee is fine, nothing special.
